Animal Research Laboratory
Laboratory Research that increases our fundamental understanding of model organisms and the opportunities/challenges for simulating human health and illness is encouraged. Animal Research welcomes contributions of novel methodologies and procedures that enhance and broaden the use of model organisms in the lab. Animal Studies Animals used in laboratories on a regular basis for all types of general study are known as laboratories. Includes guinea pigs, rats, mice, and rabbits. Additional animal species, such as hamsters, non-human primates, amphibians, poultry, sheep, and pigs, can be introduced in special-use laboratories.
