Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine

Animal welfare is the term used to describe an animal's physical and psychological well-being, including its capacity to feel happy and content as well as their capacity to stay free from painful and frightening emotions. Whether an animal is utilized for study, food production, or pet ownership, the idea of animal welfare is crucial.  Animal behavioral issues can be identified and treated using behavioral medicine. Given that behavioral issues can significantly affect an animal's well-being, it is a crucial component of animal welfare.
